What Are Fluoroquinolones?

Fluoroquinolone toxicity is damage from antibiotics that can cause serious, full-body symptoms, which range from nausea, diarrhea vomiting, to depression and psychosis. Floxing may also refer to this.

Fluoroquinolones should usually be avoided when patients have experienced dangerous side effects with a fluoroquinolone or quinolone antibiotic before. The elderly, those over 65 with kidney disease or who’ve received an organ transplant should be given special consideration.
